This was the last of the new beers that I got for Christmas from my brother. I wanted to save it for a special night, so I figured the first night that Rick and Nancy have come over since Christopher was born was a good time.
It poured out nice and dark brown with a small light brown head. Immediately, it smelled like chocolate and coffee. It tasted like a smooth, malty porter with great hints of chocolate in the booty. It was by far the best beer we had that night. We paired it, unfortunately, with pizza bites, pigs in blankets and mozza sticks. It was not the best combination in the world, but it worked.
We both really liked it. That makes all three Waterloo craft beers winners. Keep it up.
