Another of the fine choices we made in Port Huron. This one was picked up merely based on its name. Mark saw it and wanted it, so we got it.
We had no idea expect other than a 10% stout, which seems to be the trend these days. We were just about to sit down to dinner when we poured them out. It was very dark and had a big beige head on it. After the first smell, I knew I wasn’t going to like it. It smelled like Sambuca, and I hate that shit! It tasted pretty much the same too, all licoricey and boozey.
It did get mildly better as it warmed up, but by the time we got to the bottom, it was all licorice.
If this is what dragon’s milk actually tastes like, I feel sorry for all those little dragons nursing out there.
