Here we go! What started off as a joke has turned into one of the worst drinking experiences of my life….Cheap Beer Night! The criteria were:
- Had to be a tall can/very large can/monstrous bottle
- Had to be less than $3 per can/ $6 per bottle
- Any bum would be proud to drink it
Kicking us off is Molson Dry. Previously, I mentioned Beau’s Night-Marzen, apparently, had the same after taste as Molson Dry, and that I’d never had one. Mark took that as an invitation to grab one and insisted we started with it. I was OK with that since the other options were a lot less appealing.
So we opened it up and poured it out. It looked like beer, so that’s a positive. It smelled like Uncle Bob (you all have one) who reeks of beer all the time. That smell we already associated with Canadian earlier. But the taste wasn’t actually that bad. It kinda tastes like Canadian, but as the name would suggest, it leaves a dry after taste. I find it a lot better than Canadian. I would actually drink this…unless they serve crab juice.
