I was first introduced to KLB Raspberry Wheat back in university. One of my dorm mates lived in Peterborough (where it’s made) and brought back a 12 after going home one weekend. This was my first wheat beer and I’m glad it had a fruity flavour to it back then. No way I would have tried wheat beers in the future if it didn’t.
As soon as I opened it, I got whacked in the nose with raspberry smell. My first sip was almost all raspberry. But after two or three, I started to taste the wheat beer coming through. Fantastic sippin’ beer for a hot summer day.
I would definitely not recommend drinking copious amounts of this brew. After one, you start to feel it. After two or three, I bet you’ll be headed for the floor, if not the bathroom.
