Every since I realized I liked American IPAs, I’ve discovered a ton that I like. This is another one. The wife picked this one out at Publix the day before we left Florida. I still cant get over the availability of alcohol in that country!
Anywho, it was the most boring bottle on the shelf. All the other ones had pirates, or mutant turtles, or fish or beer drinking patriots. This one had the name and a field of wheat. But you know, never judge a beer by its label, or something like that…This beer was amazing.
I cracked it open while making some pizza and had a sip. Fruity and citrusy and crisp taste. It had just the right amount of hops. Fantastic.
I looked into the brewery to see if they had any other good beers and came across a whack load of good “sounding” beers: Blonde, Private Reserve, Northwest Wheat. I must have more. Next time I’m in Port Huron, I’ll be stopping by the Wal-Mart to grab some.
