I took the can out of the fridge and it felt like there was something in it. Then I read the label. It had a carbon fob inside, much like Guinness does. The can read “smooth and creamy” and I was scared. I don’t like cream ales… at all! But friends brought it over so I sucked it up and poured it out.
I popped it open and the nitro took off, creating a thick, creamy head as it filled the glass. The colour was not amber and not ale-like. It kind of looked like very weak red tea. But the taste! Oh the taste! It was great. It was very “smooth and creamy”. I’m interested in having one at a pub when it’s chilled to the proper temperature.
