This was a total surprise when Jackie showed up the night of the Christmas party. I had totally forgot that Black Oak was in Etobicoke too. She grabbed this and their new breakfast stout (more on that in a few weeks).
This saison poured out bright orange and was a touch cloudy. It smelled like oranges and coriander, which are characteristics of a wit bier. It tasted like a pure farmhouse. It was wheaty and grassy with orange flavours that lingered for a while.
It was a solid beer.
