It had been in the fridge for a while, since you need to be in a certain mood to drink a cream ale. I was in such a mood on a Saturday night when the kids were in bed, the wife was baking and I had some studying to do (I know, we’re party animals).
It poured out dark amber and had absolutely no head on it. It smelled stale and malty. It tasted stale, dry, a little malty and a little metallic. It was a long drinker, it took me almost an hour to finish it.
And the worst part, I don’t remember a thing I read! Oops!
